Photo Scans

- Hawaiian Album Rescue - From Elizabeth Eng dating back to 1914. We were going through boxes of old photo albums and happened upon this collection.  Patty Eng took charge to save this album as many of the pages would fall apart on touch.  We bought a flatbed scanner and in the "slow" process of converting the fragile images into digital.   If there are any of you out there who is into photo restoration, drop me a line.

There seems to be chapters in this album:  1) Life in Hawaii, 2) Arriving in Okmulgee & the introduction of Phillip Eng, 3) Arrival and early childhood of Clarence, Lawrence, Peggy, LuEllen, Donald and others (Note to self - Must run these down)

- The Rhys Martin Collection - Chinese restaurants existed on both the Eng and Moy branches.  In this collection, historian Rhys Martin shares an assortment of interesting content while working with Aunt Jean & Uncle Donald Eng, and Aunt Peggy Char in his book "Lost Restaurants of Tulsa", 


- Assortment from Jun, of loose photos not in an album (work in progress).   Fortunately, many of these photos were stored well protected.

2018-11-04 Violet & Stella's 1st Birthday - Conroe, Texas

2015-10-07 Andy & Patty Wedding - On the deck.   In order to get the moment right "as the sun was setting", we started off the event with a reception and then the ceremony.    Our minister said this was the funnest service she ever presided over.
